Network DSL Engineer 1999 – 2002

·   Took ownership of process from sales to turn-up to ensure all new DSL customers installations were completed on-time and to customer satisfaction. Handled all escalated trouble issues to 100% satisfactory resolution.

·   Designed, wrote, and implemented a Visual Basic (VB) application for auto assigning and tracking new, existing, and removing IPs.  Securely maintained user name/passwords for all our DSL customers.

·   Designed, wrote, and implemented Cold Fusion application, using the Internet, to access DSL VB database for after hours from remote NOC DSL tech support location.

·   Wrote Nortel DSM scripts to analyze central office/remote traffic. Produces 5-year facility forecast to accommodate the trunk forecast and project equipment requirements for central office and remote offices.

·   Troubleshot slow ADSL speeds for all customers working out of the Landis Store Remote Office to improper grounding from the DSLAM to Common ground on the Central Office main frame.

·   Worked directly with field techs troubleshooting DSL circuits: slow speeds, drop connection utilizing the DSL Network Management System “signal to noise ratio” (S/N) meter that was built into the application.
